As part of the series "AERIAL VIEWS EUROPEAN CITIES" I have photographed Munich (where I am based since 1993) out of a helicopter during this summer 2019.
My interest has been to capture the atmosphere and the charisma of the city from the elevated point of view. In particular the places of the city itself, imprinted in our visual memory. Like the Eisbach in the English Garden, where almost everyone who lives in Munich, or visited the city in summertimes, had already cooled down in its fresh waters coming from the Alpes.
